Metal Analysis
The IH Lab is accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) under the Industrial Hygiene Laboratory
Accreditation Program (IHLAP) and the Environmental Lead Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELLAP) for:
- Metals analysis in air
- Lead in paint, soil and dust

This Laboratory is a successful participant in the following AIHA programs:
- Environmental Lead Proficiency Analytical Testing (ELPAT)
- Proficiency Analytical Testing(PAT)

All samples are prepared by EPA-OSHA-and NIOSH-approved methods that include both hot plate and microwave digestion techniques.
The analytical tests include:
- Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (FLAA)
- Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption (GFAA)
- Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectrometry (ICP)
